Terms of Service

The ground rules for working with 8bot, connecting your tools, and putting your bots to work.

Effective September 14, 2026

1. Your agreement with us

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of 8bot and get8bot.com, provided by Pax8, Inc. (“Pax8,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using 8bot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use 8bot for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

2. The service and preview features

8bot provides AI bots, chat, hosted computers, connected-service tools, and automations. Features may be in preview, may change, and may not always be available. We may set usage limits, modify features, or discontinue parts of the service.

Keep independent copies of important work. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, we do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, or a particular response time.

3. Your account

Provide accurate account information and protect your login credentials. You are responsible for use of your account and for managing access to any shared work. Notify support@get8bot.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload information, connect an account, or ask a bot to act on another person’s or organization’s behalf. Do not share credentials you are not authorized to use.

4. AI output and automated actions

AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. Review information and results before relying on them, especially for decisions involving money, health, law, security, or other significant consequences. 8bot does not replace qualified professional advice.

Bots can use tools, operate hosted computers, access connected accounts, and carry out routines within the access and instructions you provide. Actions may affect external services, including sending messages or changing data. A routine may run when you are not present. Configure permissions carefully, review requests for approval, and stop or update routines you no longer want.

An error does not necessarily mean that no action occurred. Before retrying a task with external effects, inspect the result to avoid duplicate messages, transactions, or changes. Review and approval controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee that every mistake is prevented.

5. Your content and our service

As between you and Pax8, you retain any rights you hold in the content you provide. You grant us permission to host, store, reproduce, process, and transmit that content as necessary to operate 8bot, carry out your instructions, secure the service, and comply with law, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not claim ownership of your inputs or outputs solely because you use 8bot. AI output may be similar to other users’ output and may not qualify for intellectual-property protection. You are responsible for assessing the rights needed for your use of it.

Pax8 and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, branding, and other materials they provide. These Terms allow you to use 8bot; they do not transfer ownership of that technology.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use 8bot to:

  • Violate law, infringe others’ rights, invade privacy, or access accounts or systems without permission.
  • Commit fraud, impersonate others deceptively, distribute malware, or send spam or abusive communications.
  • Steal credentials or confidential information, bypass security or access controls, or disrupt the service or other systems.
  • Evade usage limits, conceal prohibited activity, or use automation against a third-party service in violation of its applicable rules.
  • Submit information you are not authorized to share, or use the service for activities that require protections or certifications we have not agreed to provide.

We may investigate suspected abuse and restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.

7. Connected services and providers

Third-party AI providers, plugins, websites, and hosted-computer providers are involved in some features. Their services may have separate terms, privacy policies, charges, limits, and availability. Connecting an account authorizes 8bot to use the permissions you approve to provide requested features.

You can withdraw a connection through available controls or the provider’s settings. Doing so may interrupt tasks and routines. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent services or actions, and we do not guarantee that any integration will remain available.

8. Usage and charges

Any paid 8bot plan, usage charge, renewal arrangement, or additional commercial terms will be disclosed to you before you agree to them. Nothing on these pages by itself enrolls you in a paid subscription. Separate agreements or purchase terms may apply to paid services.

Usage displayed in the product may include estimates and may differ from a provider’s final billing records. Third-party subscriptions or services you use may have their own charges. We will not treat an AI-generated statement as an agreement to change your pricing.

9. Ending use or suspending access

You may stop using 8bot at any time. Contact support@get8bot.com to request account closure or data deletion. Before leaving, stop unwanted routines, disconnect external accounts, and retain copies of work you need.

We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, security or legal reasons, or if we discontinue the service. Where reasonable and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address a violation. Data handling after closure is described in the Privacy Policy.

Terms that by their nature should continue, including provisions concerning rights, disclaimers, and liability, survive termination.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, 8bot is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate or that tasks will complete successfully or without unintended effects.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pax8 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, arising from use of the service. This exclusion does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other protected claims.

Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or remedies. If you have rights under local law that conflict with a provision here, those rights continue to apply.

11. Changes and other terms

We may update these Terms. We will publish the updated version and effective date and give additional notice of material changes where required. Changes apply prospectively; where new consent is required, we will request it.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any applicable separate written agreement govern your use of 8bot; a separate agreement controls to the extent it expressly overrides these Terms.
